Master Gardener Plant Sale
Our 2020 CUH Master Gardener
Plant Sale has been replaced with an online sale.

This year’s plant orders were done online with pick ups at both Bellevue Demo Garden and Cesar Chavez Demo Gardens. These separate sales allowed us to order 2020 vegetables online in time to plant. We hope that you were able to take advantage of this opportunity, and we thank you for your continuing support of the Master Gardeners in King County.

Thank you for supporting the King County Master Gardener Program by shopping at our annual plant sales.

Annual CUH Master Gardener

What makes the CUH Master Gardener plant sale so special every year will not change in 2021 and we hope to see you then.

Ask a Master Gardener! Free and expert plant shopping advice.  The Master Gardeners will have their own plant clinic booth with Diagnosticians on hand to answer your plant questions. Bring your  questions and get more design ideas as you wander the sale and learn more about selecting outstanding plants for the maritime Pacific Northwest gardens and how to take care of them.

What do you want to know? Here are some tips for shopping:

  • Wagons – a limited number will be available so we encourage you to bring your own small wagon or cart
  • Maps available at entry so you can locate your area of interest or favorite vendor
  • Loading Zone and Pick Up area available
  • Parking – free parking nearby, easy access by bus
  • Accessibility: easy access to vendors
  • Bathrooms available onsite in NHS hall
  • Directions: via car or arrive by bus (Routes 65, 67, 75 and 78 stops nearby)

ABOUT THE SALE

THE PLANTS.

You are sure to find a huge selection of plants: many varieties of veggie starts, herbs and tomatoes, perennials and grasses, and natives and ornamental shrubs and trees.  Plan to Ask-a-Master-Gardener how you might create a mix of edibles for container plantings, which ones are best for patios, and any other questions you may have about plants as you browse.

If you are interested in more than veggies, then this is the sale for you. Master Gardeners have been propagating and potting plants since last fall to ensure that you have a huge selection of perennials, fuchsias, unusual heirloom perennials included, along with ornamental plants including trees and shrubs, and natives.

VENDORS

A number of local vendors join this sale to provide their own specialty products including unusual plants and garden display items that will provide the perfect focal point for your garden.

When you arrive at the sale, you will receive a map to help you find your way around the sale and locate your favorite vendor.

SPONSORS

We have received strong support from sponsors over the years that helps to offset plant sale expenses. Please continue to support our sponsors with your patronage.

The CUH plant sale is a tradition for the King County Master Gardeners, who are celebrating the 47th anniversary of the WSU Master Gardener Program. Contributions towards making this plant sale a success come from many organizations across the county. We hope that you will support them with your patronage.

Proceeds from the Master Gardener plant sale support the Master Gardener Foundation of King County. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial support for the WSU Extension Master Gardener program in King County to provide research-based education about urban horticulture to the residents of the state of Washington.
