WHAT Staff clinic locations with the appropriate number of Master Gardeners to meet schedule needs. Some clinics may have more than one location.

Identify clinic leadership: Leader, Clinic Information Coordinator (CIC), Scheduler. Other roles may be added as needed.


HOW Assign new interns to clinics each year based on clinic needs and intern preferences.

Publish roster of active Master Gardeners for each clinic.

Revise schedule as needed.


BEST PRACTICES Use the Clinic Activity Report (CAR) to calculate contacts per clinic hour and contacts per clinician hour to assign the appropriate number of Master Gardeners per shift. The terms in red are defined in Staffing Calculations & Use.
